On this day in 1934, the run finally ended for Bonnie and Clyde. It’s one of those stories that has been told a thousand times, but it still feels surreal how much of a footprint they left on history during such a short, violent time. Spending time in our Gangster Land exhibit really puts that whole era into perspective. Seeing the artifacts and hearing the stories of the 1930s makes you realize how crazy things actually were back then.
