RockBuzz Rockford's Post
Rockford, are you ready to walk through a haunted house with the lights OFF? 😳 Twisted Crypt Haunted House is back for its 13th year at 5420 E. State Street, and they’re kicking things off Friday, September 18 with Twisted Darkness for ONE NIGHT ONLY. Every light inside the haunted house will be turned off. Your entire group gets one glowstick while Twisted Crypt’s “Family” roams through the darkness. Good luck with that. 😂 Then on Saturday, September 19, the regular 2026 season officially begins with 14 different rooms, more than 40 characters, special effects, fog, strobe lights, strong smells, and plenty of gore. Twisted Crypt has also earned some serious recognition over the years, including multiple Top Ten Illinois Haunted House honors from HauntedIllinois.com. 🎟️ Tickets are available now at TwistedCrypt.com. Who are you trusting to hold the ONE glowstick? Tag them. 👀 Remember, it is a good day to go local. #RockfordBuzz #TwistedCrypt #RockfordIL #HauntedHouse #Halloween
