The 2026 Rockford Area Arts Awards is set to shine a spotlight on the creative heartbeat of our region 🎭✨ This annual celebration honors artists, performers, educators, innovators, organizations, and arts supporters who continue to shape the Rockford creative community. This year’s Symbol of Rockford Award recognizes Rockford native Bob Greenblatt, whose career has helped shape iconic television, film, and theater, from The X-Files to HBO’s The Gilded Age. 📅 March 6 📍 Maddox Theatre at Rockford University What to expect: • Complimentary food and cash bar from 6–7 PM • Awards program begins at 7:15 PM • After Party at 9 PM with complimentary food from Lino’s and time to celebrate with nominees, Bob Greenblatt, and fellow creatives Parking available via Turner Street or E.
