RockBuzz Rockford's Reel
Imagine retiring, buying a business, and fast-forwarding to becoming part of an 80-year Rockford tradition. 😂 That's how Bob Blosser found himself at Bennie's Cleaners in downtown Rockford! Bob knew he wanted to buy a business after retirement. He just wasn't sure what kind. Then he met Larry Sheets, the longtime owner of Bennie's, who was getting ready to retire himself. Fast-forward to now, and Bennie's Cleaners is celebrating 80 years in Rockford! From dry cleaning and laundry services to being a popular stop during Rockford's ArtScene, Bennie's has become more than just a place to drop off your clothes. It's pretty cool seeing a business that's been around for eight decades continue to be part of our downtown community. ❤️ Remember, it is a good day to go local. #BenniesCleaners #DowntownRockford #RockfordIL #RockfordBuzz #GoLocal
