Looking for something to do in the Stateline area this Easter weekend? There are a few local events happening that you might want to check out. First Friday Gallery Reception The Beloit Art Center holds this reception on the first Friday of every month. It is a great chance to walk through their two galleries and see the latest exhibits. The event is free and open to everyone in the community. They usually have refreshments available while you browse the artwork and chat with other local art lovers. You can bring the kids down to meet and take photos with the Easter Bunny. There will be various games, local mascots, and face painting to keep everyone entertained. Participating locations throughout the downtown area will be involved, and you can pick up a map at the Downtown Beloit Association office or find it online to make sure you don't miss any of the stops. Grand Ave, Beloit, WI Time: Saturday, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm Downtown Rockton Easter Egg Hunt If you are looking for a classic egg hunt, Settlers Park is the place to be. This is a free event where kids are divided into age groups to make things fair for the little ones. They have a staggered start at the flagpole, and everyone is limited to a certain number of eggs so there is enough for all. Keep an eye out for special tickets hidden inside some eggs that can be traded for larger prizes provided by local merchants. The Easter Bunny will also be hanging around for photos after the hunt.
