Why are Corned Beef Tacos dine-in only on St. Patrick's Day? A little behind-the-scenes moment from the restaurant world… Corned beef tacos are one of the more costly tacos we make all year. They’re not a loss, but they’re definitely not the thing that keeps the lights on either. But when people come in to enjoy them they usually grab a beer, a margarita, maybe an appetizer, maybe dessert, and suddenly the math works out for everyone. So tomorrow we're making them DINE IN ONLY because we want it to feel like the fun St. Patrick’s Day taco party it’s supposed to be. They will help us fill the seats here in the restaurant and honestly, full restaurants feel good. Seeing people gathering feels good. Good news though 👇 If we don’t sell out tomorrow, we’ll happily sell the remaining orders on Wednesday as togo until they’re gone. Screw this weather. Let’s be honest… you’re not braving these roads for tacos today and we’re not braving them to make them. So let’s all just agree tomorrow is our day. Tomorrow is about Corned Beef Tacos for St. Patrick’s Day. ☘️🌮 Today? Today is about building a big appetite. Maybe fast. Maybe shovel snow. Maybe just stare longingly at pictures of tacos.
